The Fleadh Cheoil is the world’s largest annual celebration of Irish music, language, song and dance. A CÉILÍ (pronounced Kay-lee) band is a group of 10 musicians providing music for CÉILÍ (Irish) social dancing and/or set dancing.
So come along and let’s give these guys a massive send off, the first ever Australian CÉILÍ Band to compete at the Fleadh, as well as being the furthest any CÉILÍ band will have ever travelled to compete! The Guinness will be flowing and we encourage dancing. Hup two three four!
